"Pleasant"
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, helping with anything we needed. It was easy to commute to Manhattan, subway stations are close by. There's a lovely Gantry park with a great view to Manhattan just a short walk from the hotel and stops for ferry connections.

The location is excellent if you want an affordable hotel that offers metro connection to Manhattan in 1 ride of about 10-15 min. Hotel is close to a metro station an in a relatively quiet and safe neighborhood. There are a lot of nice restaurants within walking range of the hotel. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly

We are very satisfied with our stay at LIC hotel. It's a great value for its location and cleanliness. Subway is just around the corner and it is connected to several metro lines. You can be in Manhattan in 10-15min from the time you leave the hotel. We found the neighborhood very quiet and safe. There are also few supermarkets and restaurants/diners in its vicinity. Hotel is quite basic, but it is soooo clean! Rooms are cleaned every day. Mattress and pillows are very comfy. Mattress a bit on the hard side, but it was great for us. There is also a laundry room in the hotel which can be very helpful. Breakfast is the same every day, but nice choice and tasty food. Hotel also has a rooftop with a great view. With some TLC it could go to a next level, but it is nice as is. Hotel rooms look just as on photos. I really recommend stay at this hotel!

The complimentary breakfast was really good and a nice way to save money. The location is great, close to a station that goes directly into Manhattan and several local restaurants, not to mention great views of the city from the roof top. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable.

Location is perfect. Cleanliness is TOP. Bed is okay. The breakfast was decent but the same every day. The choice of dishes included scrambled eggs (made from real eggs), boiled egg, potato salad, hamburger meat or fried bacon, cheese spread, butter, Nutella, American pancakes, maple syrup, several types of jam, apple and orange juices, coffee with additives, tea, milk, breakfast cereals, bagels, bread, and toast. The breakfast is okay but gets boring very quickly. Considering the price of the hotel, the breakfast is okay.

Central location, E line qroud the corner (which brings you to JFK or La Guardio airport and to Manhattan). Nice and friendly staff, free wifi, clean rooms and hotel, really good roof top. many places to eat at this area and supermarkets, breakfast which is good

Everything was perfect. We loved the easy transit to the city with the subway. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast room is a little small and you might need a little patience before getting a table. But breakfast was good. We will book again :)

The LIC (Long Island City) Hotel is located just a block away from the Court Square-23rd Street Station, which is on the "E" Subway line, originating at Jamaica and terminating at #1 World Trade Center, or vice versa. Thus it, in turn, is connected to JFK Airport by Airtrain. Easy accessibility and connectivity are the two most salient attributes that this Hotel is endowed with. Lexington Avenue and 53rd Street station in Manhattan is exactly ONE station away. The Queens neighborhood of the LIC Hotel is rapidly developing and upcoming. A Convenience Store, Pizzeria, Subway Sandwich shop, public laundromat and a host of ordinary through upscale restaurants all surround this location. Queens Plaza/Queensboro Plaza are both close to the Hotel within walking distance. There is a Fridge in each room, to store (and not fritter-away!) any foodstuff. Inside the Hotel is peaceful, notwithstanding the endless traffic both on Queens' 21st Street and the Queensboro Ed Koch Bridge. The staff is courteous and promptly trouble-shoots any difficulties. Reasonably priced. A breath-taking Manhattan view from the terrace.

The room was clean and spacious, bed very comfortable. The location was ideal as it is beside the subway and perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast was included, there is also a washing machine in the basement, and staff was always helpful and nice. This hotel was a really nice surprise overall!

I liked the location. Its closer to the city that i thought. Took the subway late at night and the area felt safe. The bed was big and comfortable I would reccomend..

Overall, this hotel was a great find. It's in a great location, and generally speaking it was just what I needed, and not more. The bathroom was very clean, bed comfortable, and the rooftop is a hidden treasure. When the weather is nice, definitely go up on the roof and check out the view. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The location of this hotel is excellent, the nearest subway station is just 1-2 minutes walk with great access to Manhattan and in addition, there is a direct connection to JFK/AirTrain Jamaica station. We had our room cleaned every day and got bottled water refilled each day. Breakfast was tasty and the stuff was super nice, you can leave your luggage after the check-out for free in their storage room. The rooftop terrace had a great view of New York skyline. Would definitely stay again.
